Welcome to JAM Circuit!

JAM Circuit is a fresh home for media-based news that lives at the intersection of proven industry expertise, firsthand professional experience, and a diverse network of friends and former colleagues, but before we get ahead of ourselves, allow us to address the elephant in the room with a message from JAM Circuit’s Founders:

What Is JAM Circuit?

Since 2020, JAM Circuit Founders Kennedy King and Harley Whisenhunt have worked at several digital publications, covering everything from local Arkansas news and professional boxing undercards to the universe of A Song of Ice and Fire and the latest One Piece chapters. After thousands of hours studying the maddening trends of the online media landscape, we formed the kernel of a new idea in early 2026 while searching for a way to showcase our work, eventually creating JAM Circuit as the solution.

Our core mission begins with our name. JAM Circuit stands for Japanese and American Media Circuit, but our coverage isn’t bound exclusively to Japanese-American collaborations. As a team of digital strategists with proven professional expertise in anime, manga, gaming, movies, television, sports, interviews, reviews, and digital culture, we want this website to reflect the part of modern entertainment that actually works.

Our goal is simple: JAM Circuit strives to provide timely human insight into the evolving landscape of the entertainment sphere.

In a digital landscape increasingly sullied by AI content, JAM Circuit strives to set itself apart using human voices. Everything on this website comes from a real writer with real opinions and a real attachment to the stories they write, every time.

Movies will center on franchise films, animation, adaptations, memorable scenes, and the classic stories behind cinema’s greatest moments.

JAM Circuit will also be home to several recurring columns:

Anime IRL — A column about the real-world history, cultural context, and true stories connected to anime and manga.

Patch Notes — A gaming column for timely takes, industry shifts, current thoughts, and the games worth talking about.

The Pause Button — A movie column about the moments that made us stop, rewind, and rewatch.

Watch Party — A TV column built around what we’re watching and how we’re feeling about various television-related topics.

This site will grow, and it will probably make a few mistakes along the way. But above all else, JAM Circuit’s mission will stay the same: to ensure that every article is accurate, produce content that represents real, substantiated opinions, and offer critical analysis & historical context on the art we all know and love.

Thank you for checking out JAM Circuit, and please stay tuned for more.

Sincerely,
Kennedy King & Harley Whisenhunt, JAM Circuit Co-Founders
